Painter1 was started by two guys; Conrad, who originally founded and ran Five Star Painting (now the 2nd largest painting franchise in North America and owned by Neighborly). The other founder of Painter1, Jason, was Five Star Painting's Brand Manager and Director of Marketing for many years and even worked for Dwyer Group for a year. These founders have literally seen and done it all in the painting franchise space. Furthermore, Jason and Conrad work closely with other painting franchisors and even license the 1.0 version of Painter1's unique, in-house proprietary software to a fellow painting franchisor! In all their years in the industry, Conrad and Jason realized that many of the current franchise systems were not built or geared toward owner success. Most franchise systems inherently created an "Us vs. Them" and Conrad and Jason had had enough! Their system is designed to empower the owner!

They do NOT restrict their owners by the number of zip codes or households they're able to service, they use a Mentor program that actually pays existing Painter1 franchise owners to help train and coach new Painter1 franchise owners, they have their own, extremely robust, in-house software that contains all the estimating modules, CRM, communication tools and automated action plans for owners to easily run their business, Painter1 also has a unique 10% owners equity pool - all Painter1 franchise owners are automatically put in this 10% equity pool and actually own a piece of the franchise system!
